My wife and I have undertaken a challenge to see every Maritime NZ Lighthouse as shown on the New Zealand Maritime Website, in the list and the map below. There are some extra lighthouses that are not Maritime New Zealand lighthouses and are included in the list below. The green markers show all the NZ lighthouses we have visited.

The main reason for doing this is to be able to see more of New Zealand. We started this challenge way back in 2014 but I feel that after Covid-19 and the lockdowns. With the restrictions on overseas travel, this is an awesome time to explore New Zealand. We still have a lot more to visit and would love to know any tips on how to get to see some.
